Harrogate Christmas Market
will be bigger and better!
Harrogate Christmas Market
returns from Thursday 28th November to Sunday 1st December
– and this year it will be even bigger and better.
Organised by Harrogate Chamber
of Trade and Commerce, this four-day festive market will be filled with high
quality Yorkshire and Harrogate products. There will be more than 140 chalets,
mini-marquees, traditional market stalls and outdoor gazebos selling everything
from Yorkshire cheeses and chutneys to handmade gifts and Christmas decorations.
Among the highlights will be the
large Craft and Gift Marquee and, new for this year, a Food and Drink Marquee
which will have café-style tables and chairs for visitors to relax and enjoy the
Yorkshire produce on offer.

It’s not just the Christmas
Market itself which will be bringing visitors to Harrogate – the Christmas
lights will be officially switched on at a celebration outside the Victoria
Shopping Centre on Thursday 21st November from 4pm to 6pm. The whole
of the town centre will then be lit up every day with the glow of thousands of
festive lights, throughout the four-day Christmas Market and right up until the
end of December. Go to
www.HarrogateAtChristmas.org for full details.
The Christmas Market will take
place along St Mary’s Walk at the bottom of Montpellier Hill, opposite the Crown
Hotel and the White Hart Hotel, where coaches drop off tourists during the
summer. While the Christmas Market takes place, FREE coach parking is available
if booked in advance.
