Coach Parties 2019

BOOKING FOR 2019 HAS NOW CLOSED!

Coach parties are welcome at the Harrogate Christmas Market, but they MUST BOOK IN ADVANCE. Bookings for 2019 have closed, but if you would like to receive an invitation for 2020 send an email.

The last date for booking was 31st October 2019, in order to be permitted to drop off and pick up passengers on Montpellier Hill, right next to the Christmas Market. Drop-off and Pick-up slots and Parking for coaches are only available if booked in advance. Pedestrians are admitted FREE of charge. Coaches are charged for access and parking.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE: The usual coach drop-off area on St Mary’s Walk is NOT AVAILABLE as it is filled with market stalls. The usual Council coach parking area on Dragon Road is being utilised for Trader van parking and will not have space available. We have arranged coach parking space at private venues close to town for all 4 days. Full information will be provided after booking.

Our 8th Harrogate Christmas Market will be held in the Town Centre from Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th November 2019. Admission is FREE for pedestrians and the site is wheelchair accessible. It is not recommended to bring dogs due to the large crowds expected.

This four-day Harrogate Christmas Market will be a very large event, comparable with longer established Christmas Markets in other northern towns such as Durham, Lincoln and York. It will be a high quality upmarket event with a traditional Yorkshire theme.  It will attract many visitors to Harrogate to see the Christmas Lights and enjoy the town centre’s excellent shopping and hospitality facilities.

There will be about 200 stalls, including chalets and market stalls of various sizes, a large Crafts & Gifts Marquee offering quality merchandise with a Christmas-theme. There will be a Food & Drink Marquee with seating and tables for snacks and refreshments. Santa will open the Market on his sleigh pulled by real reindeer. There will also be popular Children’s Funfair rides, whilst groups of buskers will play seasonal music each day. 

There are many other tourist attractions in and around Harrogate District – together with a large number of hotels and guest houses of all sizes that will accommodate your passengers in comfort. For full listings click here
