Masons of Yorkshire have been regulars at the Harrogate Christmas Market for several years now and have just re-launched their brand with a new bottle. Masons of Yorkshire was started with a simple mission. To create a different gin, not just a different label.

Founded in 2013 by Karl and Cathy Mason, the distillery was the first and original established in Yorkshire, spearheading the resurgence of gin to the county.

Through building a premium range of gins, which have won the most prestigious awards world-wide, and a fire that threatened to destroy it all, the Masons team remains devoted to making exceptional, distinctive gins for your enjoyment, distilled using only the finest botanicals.

Paperstarlights is another long-standing trader who also kindly decorate the Buskers Shelter at the Market each year.

For 25 years they have shared love and light with their handmade and fairly traded Paper Star lanterns.

Handcrafted from natural and sustainable materials, their Paper Stars make an atmospheric paper lampshade, classic centrepiece, or evocative Christmas decoration. They are uniquely produced through a close working partnership between India and the UK, a family friendship spanning 25 years and two generations.

Each lantern is designed, screenprinted and handcrafted by artists, using traditional techniques, non-automated production, responsibly sourced paper, natural dyes – and two generations of skill and experience.

Paperstarlights create magical spaces filled with colour, warmth and sparkle, and bring homely comfort to the coldest of winter days. They have cast light over countless family Christmases and decorated spaces of all shapes and sizes – from Pinewood Film Studios to Grand Designs.
